Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year-giving. Giving Bluesday is Anthropos Arts’ uniquely Austin twist on this national day of giving. This year’s event is a safe socially-distanced experience at the Blue Starlite Drive-In. Join us for a double feature presenting our very own AnthroKids and the documentary Amazing Grace, a concert film about the recording of Aretha Franklin’s 1972 live album of the same name. The fun also includes a P. Terry’s food truck and exciting raffles! Doors open at 5:45 pm and the show starts at 6:45 pm. Purchase tickets here.

Giving Bluesday is accompanied by a month-long fundraising campaign which supports our mission to bring high-quality music education to low-income students. 2020 has been an unprecedented year for everyone including our AnthroKids. They need us now more than ever as they face the stresses of social isolation and remote learning. We’ve continued to guide our students through it all via virtual music lessons and ‘home-recording’ and we need your help to keep it going! You can donate straight to our Giving Bluesday 2020 Fundraiser by texting GBD 2020 to 512-866-7826 or by following this link!
