Anthropos Arts is excited to be named a 2019 Official Charity Partner for the Austin Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K – Austin Gives Miles Charity program! The Austin Gives Miles program connects Central Texas non-profit organizations to passionate race participants willing to volunteer, raise funds and awareness for causes that give back to our local community.

We are recruiting volunteers to join our team. Your participation helps Anthropos Arts raise funds for the programming our students receive all year long. We bring top professional musicians from diverse music genres to give free music lessons, workshops, and performance opportunities to at-risk students in middle and high schools that have high rates of poverty. 

Volunteers will help out with Packet Pickup at the Austin Marathon Health & Fitness Expo.

When: Saturday, Feb 16th
Shift: 1:15pm – 5:15pm

Shift Details:

You may be assigned to any one of the following the day of.

Packet Pickup – Computers:

Volunteers will be stationed at a laptop to help with new registrations, bib lookup, and registered participant check-in. This shift requires standing for a long period of time. Minimum age is 18 yrs old.

Packet Pickup – Shirts and Bags:

Volunteers will help maintain and organize all supplies and distribute shirts and bags to event participants.

Packet Pickup – Floater:

Volunteers will help with any gaps in volunteer slots, help relieve volunteers from their shifts to take breaks, and line management.
