Phew! We made it! After 2 action packed weekends at ACL 2014 we are hooked up to a caffeine drip to get us through this next week. For weekend 2 the music gods tested everyone’s dedication to ACL by bringing rain to the event.

Most passed as the mud and damp air didn’t stop the stampede of music goers from herding towards the best viewing spot at the 11am gate opening. This time we captured this entertaining scene in slow mo to get the full effect. For a good laugh, click here.

We had another great weekend at the student run booth. Students informed anyone and everyone about Anthropos Arts. Many shared personal stories about how the program has helped shape them throughout the years. If people didn’t know who we were before walking up to the booth, they sure did as they walked away. Here they are huddling to keep warm during the mini cold front.

When they weren’t boothin’ it, students got a chance to see some awesome live music!

Our all girl horn section performed once again with Elizabeth McQueen for the second weekend and absolutely killed it! Check out this awesome article ACL provides space for musical charity to raise awareness by The Daily Texan about the girls and Anthropos Arts.

ACL 2014 may be over, but the planning will last until ACL 2015. See you there!
